Harry S. Truman

Bronze figure of former President Harry S. Truman. He is walking with a cane in his left hand. He wears a double-breasted suit and glasses. He is located on the east side of the Historic Truman Courthouse in downtown Independence. It was dedicated by then-President Gerald Ford on May 8, 1976. Truman’s daughter, Margaret Truman Daniel was in attendance for the dedication ceremony.
