This ornate cast iron street light is on the northeast corner of the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Nichols Road on Country Club Plaza. The light pole is in a triangular plan with a light in the center and at each point. The base support consists of three steer hooves supporting winged dragons. There is a lion mask at the center of each panel. The lights are supported by serpents. The steer hooves sit on an 18-inch tall cast iron pedestal with bas-relief entablature. There is acanthus leaf detail on the top edge and egg and dart detail on the bottom. The base, which features built-in benches, is made of granite.
