AKA Etruscan Urns I, II and III; Etruscan Urns

A set of three ornate birdhouses based on Etruscan funerary objects. The one on the left is made out of bronze. The one in the middle is of aluminum. Cast iron was used for the one on the right. They can be found in the Legacy Garden of the Overland Park Arborteum and Botanical Gardens. They were part of the Arboretum’s 2010 sculpture exhibit and were then added to the permanent collection. It is rumoured that they are a favorite hiding place for tree toads who appreciate the cool confines of the birdhouses.
