A young Native American boy crouches on a rock overlooking a spring. His left hand is extended as he looks downward.

This sculpture is part of a scene that depicts an old spring located along an Indian trace that was used by both Native Americans and settlers. Another sculpture, titled “Stella at the Spring” is a companion piece by the same artist and also part of the scene.
