City of Fountains Bus Tours Offer a Better Way to See Kansas City

The City of Fountains Bus Tour offers a guided two-hour experience designed to introduce riders to the fountains, stories, and destinations that help define Kansas City’s identity.

Created with both World Cup visitors and local audiences in mind, the tour gives guests a closer look at the public fountains that have made Kansas City distinctive for generations.

Along the route, riders will visit several notable fountains that reflect the city’s history, artistry, and civic pride.

Stops include the Mill Creek Park Fountain, known for its monumental figures and lasting status as a symbol of Kansas City.

Guests will also see the Eagle Scout Tribute Fountain, a unique fountain built around a monumental marble sculpture that once stood at New York’s Pennsylvania Railroad Station.

The Firefighters Memorial Fountain offers one of the tour’s most meaningful moments, honoring the firefighters lost in the 1988 explosion with a moving bronze memorial setting.

Guests using the streetcar can walk from the Plaza stop to the fountain in less than five minutes.

All riders are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in, and a brief introduction before departure.
