A globe with latitude and longitude lines made out of stainless steel is being held by a pair of giant bronze hands. The continents of the world are of bronze as are the reliefs of faces from each continent. The hands rise out of a base covered by granite tiles.
Located in front of the Leawood Justice Center, it became the 23rd three-dimensional work in Leawood’s Public Art Collection. It was created by Kansas City artist Kwan Wu.
