William B. Strang, Jr. is the founder and planner of Overland Park. This bronze statue of him stands in downtown Overland Park. It features Mr. Strang standing holding a set of rolled-up plans in his left hand as he looks out over the landscape, as he might have when he was planning the development of Overland Park.
