The Chinese Pioneers

The sculpture honors the Chinese pioneers who came to America and through their hard work and dreams of a better life helped build the Pacific Railroad system that dramatically changed the economic development and westward expansion of the United States.

This sculpture is part of the International Sculpture Garden at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
