Dandeblome
A pair of steel and aluminum dandelions about to go to seed are standing at the corner of 10th and Main in downtown Blue Springs, across the street from the Blue Springs City Hall.
As part of Blue Springs’ Remnant Restored program, recycled material, in this case steel and aluminum, was used for the sculpture. The aluminum that makes up the dandelion seeds came from the America’s Community Bank across the street when they decided to remove the aluminum skin from their building in order to restore the original brick facing.
