Fountain Fest 2025 is looking for bands, individual singers and performers to be part of our live entertainment lineup on April 19th at Mill Creek Park.

This is an opportunity to showcase your talent, connect with the community, and be part of a growing Kansas City tradition.

Event Details & Requirements

✅ Location: Mill Creek Park, Kansas City

✅ Set Times: Vary throughout the day (performance slots will be assigned after selection).

✅ What We’re Looking For

Bands – Rock, pop, jazz, folk, blues, indie, and other crowd-pleasing genres.
Solo Artists & Vocalists – Singer-songwriters, acoustic acts, and dynamic vocal performances.
High-Energy Performances – Artists who can captivate an audience and create a memorable experience.
We encourage original music and creative performances, but bands and singers performing popular covers that engage the crowd are also welcome.

Who can apply to perform at Fountain Fest?

We welcome local musicians, bands, performance artists, and speakers to apply. Whether you’re a solo act, a full band, a dance group, or a spoken word artist, we encourage dynamic, family-friendly performances that engage the crowd.

What types of performances are you looking for?

We are seeking high-energy, engaging acts that will add to the festival atmosphere. This includes:
• Musicians & Bands – All genres are welcome.
• Dance Groups & Cultural Performances – Showcasing diverse artistic styles.
• Spoken Word & Storytelling – Poets, authors, and inspirational speakers.
• Interactive Performers – Acts that engage with the audience.

How long are performance sets?

Performance set lengths vary based on the act. Most sets range from 30 to 60 minutes, but final set times will be determined after selection.

Will sound equipment be provided?

Yes, Fountain Fest will provide a professional stage and sound system for performers. Performers should bring any specific instruments, microphones, or equipment needed for their act.

How do I apply to perform?

To be considered for the Fountain Fest entertainment lineup, complete the entertainment application form at entertainment form. Our team will review submissions and contact selected performers with next steps.

Is there a deadline to apply?

Yes, the deadline to apply is March 15th. However, performance slots are limited, so we encourage early submissions.

Is there a performance fee or honorarium?

Fountain Fest is a volunteer-based event, and there is no performance fee or honorarium. This is a great opportunity for artists to gain exposure, connect with the community, and be part of a high-visibility festival celebrating Kansas City’s fountains and culture.

When will I know if I’ve been selected?

Applicants will be notified by March 31st if they have been selected to perform. Additional details, including performance schedules and setup instructions, will be provided at that time.

How many people attend Fountain Fest?

We anticipate over 3,000 attendees throughout the day, including families, professionals, community leaders, and arts supporters.

What happens if I need to cancel my participation?

If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible so we can fill your spot.
