Get ready, Kansas City! Fountain Fest 2025 is coming to Mill Creek Park on April 19th for a full day of celebration, live entertainment, food, and family-friendly fun. This event marks the official turning on of Kansas City’s fountains, a tradition that brings the community together to celebrate our city’s art, culture, and history.

A Day Full of Activities & Entertainment
🎶 Live Music & Performances
Enjoy a variety of musical acts and performances throughout the day at the main stage, featuring local entertainers bringing energy to the festival.
🎭 Kids Entertainment
Families can visit the Kids Zone, featuring interactive activities to keep young festival-goers engaged and entertained.
🍔 Food Trucks & Local Cuisine
The festival will feature some of Kansas City’s best food trucks serving a mix of BBQ, Mexican cuisine, desserts, and more.
Call-for-Artists & Photographers
Artists and photographers are invited to participate in Fountain Fest’s Plein Air Paint-Out and the Open Capture Challenge. This is an exciting opportunity to paint live at the festival or capture the beauty of Kansas City’s fountains over a two-month period.
The Plein Air Paint-Out takes place on April 19th at Mill Creek Park, where artists will paint live as part of the festival experience. The Open Capture Challenge runs from April 19th – May 31th, allowing artists and photographers to create artwork or take photos of three selected fountains at their own pace.

Fountain Fest is a high-visibility event, and businesses, nonprofits, and local vendors are encouraged to reserve booth space to connect with the community. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for brands looking for premium exposure at this high-traffic festival.
